Karen Marschel

My passion is helping others prevent and control diabetes through nutrition and exercise. My dad was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 12 and as soon as I started learning about diabetes in college I knew that was what I wanted to do with my life. My mother gave me a love for good food as she cooked at home and in restaurants since I was 3 years old.
For 15 years I have been working with diabetes in community programs and outpatient clinics. In 2007 I set up a website to provide online diabetes programs. I hope that you enjoy my blog posts about diabetes, nutrition and exercise!
